Five Agreements Quotes

According to Don Miguel Ruiz, everything we do is based on agreements we have made – agreements with the Divine, with the people we interact with, agreements with our lives. However, the most important agreements are those that we encounter ourselves. Through agreements with ourselves, we determine the history of who we are, how we should behave, what is possible and what is impossible in our lives. I`ll check out the five chords and insert some of my favorite quotes into the book. I`M ENJOYING IT! I consider agreements to this effect to be “contracts that you have with yourself”. Imagine these personal agreements such as affirmations – powerful statements that can enable you and lead you towards your goals. If your conversations and thoughts are negative, then the agreements you have with yourself can destroy you and anchor you in your past. For many years, I have striven to live according to the “five chords” that I have taken from these two remarkable and very recommendable books: the four chords of Don Miguel Ruiz and The Power of the Now by Eckhart Tolle. I found that once these agreements were internalized and truly understood, my emotional, spiritual and physical well-being progressed.

My 5th agreement is Mind Your Own Business. This makes it easier to follow the other four chords without distractions that really aren`t your concern. Using the four chords to master the dreams of your life is a magical journey. These are simple, but powerful. If you put in mind what Don Miguel Ruiz calls your authentic self to find wisdom, it is about well-being and mastery. I love your presentation. Ruiz`s principles are rooted in traditional Tolèque wisdom, and in their simplicity, these powerful agreements are difficult and focus on the idea that the way we think and act is based on agreements we make with ourselves. These agreements are supposed to be our personal belief systems that developed in childhood.

Ruiz presents how to release these beliefs and bonds as a path to a happy, healthy and sensible life. Personal and professional growth always begins with consciousness. Be aware of your beliefs and agreements, and then decide if you want to make any changes. The four chords have been printed for years and pricked on my fridge. The words are relevant and wise and help me live with less stress and heart pain. It delves deeply into the problems that many of us experience in our daily lives. This is one of those “Must Reads”! I love how small shops lead you to something you may need. I hope you will enjoy my summary of the agreements. Maybe you`ll buy it on your next trip to the bookstore. For those who have it, it may be a small kick-off to reopen it.

It is not realistic to expect that we will be able to change our mentality from day one and that we can, if not that we must, follow all the agreements perfectly. However, we can choose agreements that have a personal resonance with each of us and try to do our best to respect them. In doing so, we can relax knowing that we are doing everything we can to develop personal freedom and happiness day in and day out. If you liked this list of quotes from The Four Agreements, you will find more resources and information in the following book: “If you feel good, everything is fine around you, if everything is great around you, everything makes you happy. You love everything around you because you love yourself. Because you love who you are. Because you are happy with your life. You are happy with the film you are making, happy with your arrangements with life.

You are at peace and you are happy. You live in this state of happiness where everything is so wonderful and so beautiful. In this state of happiness, you make love with everything you perceive all the time. ~ Don Miguel Ruiz, The Four Agreements We all have agreements (contracts with ourselves) based on our past programs, beliefs, and experiences in our lives.
