Vccs Agreement

A list of non-federal transfer agreements between community colleges and some four-year colleges and universities can be included in the Virginia Education Wizard. To facilitate the transfer process, VCCS and Liberty offer the following guaranteed authorization agreement. This agreement is reviewed every three years, but remains in effect until termination by one of the parties, after written notification to the other party. This communication should be made at least sixty days before the anniversary of the signing. Students enrolled in the agreement can benefit from their conditions for two years after the termination comes into force. The “Race Equivalents” document on the admissions site of W-M (www.wm.edu/admission/transfer), which also takes into account the general educational requirements of W-M, will be updated when the W-M program is modified and after adding or cancelling courses in the VCCS Master Course File without running a new GAA. The system agreements allow graduate students from one of Virginia`s 23 community colleges with an associate degree and a minimum admission average at more than 30 colleges and universities in the community. Copies of the current agreements can be find in the list below. In addition to cross-cutting accreditation agreements, VCU has a number of transfer partnership contracts with community universities. These agreements facilitate the smooth transfer of Funds from Community College to VCU Licensing Programs and the development of four years of card transfer. The agreement offers students who use the agreement the same access as local students: VCU has guaranteed hospitality agreements with a number of institutions.

These agreements define the conditions for admission guaranteed to the VCU by the conclusion of an associate diploma. The agreements are valid up to one year after the end of the program and do not guarantee admission to professional or specialized programs such as art, engineering or health sciences. For more information, see the state`s transmission policy. Ask your community college consultant what is available! See list of national delegation agreements. Students previously enrolled at Liberty and expelled to a VCCS college to obtain a transfer associate diploma are not eligible for participation in the GAA. VCCS students who do not meet the GAA eligibility requirements mentioned above may apply for admission to Liberty, but do not have a guarantee of access under this agreement. VCCS equivalency courses that meet these requirements are listed in the “Race Equivalents” document on the www.wm.edu/admission/transfer`s admissions site, in the “COLL” column for the college curriculum. Students are subject to the applicable requirements at the time of submission of the letter of intent.

Additional education and training requirements are set out in Section IV of this agreement.
