ITA Diretto dalla regista Alison Klayman – già autrice di “Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry” – che ha accompagnato per più di un anno Steve Bannon, ex stratega e uomo chiave di Donald Trump, il film segue l’ideologo della nuova destra estremista statunitense dal suo allontanamento dalla Casa Bianca fino al termine della sua campagna itinerante tra U.S.A ed Europa, e fa luce sui suoi sforzi per dare vita a The Movement, l’organizzazione creata per promuovere una politica sovranista e populista nel Vecchio e Nuovo Continente, al fine di unificare i partiti di estrema destra. Presentato con grande successo e polemiche all’ultimo Sundance Film Festival.
Bannon, in Italia è da settimane al centro delle polemiche e delle proteste #BannOff per la trasformazione dell’antica Abbazia di Trisulti, nel Lazio, in un incubatore per futuri sovranisti europei.
